North Bay Ritual Planning Cell - Community Hiving Decision - 2020
This year at the North Bay RPC yearly retreat the cell decided to go through a trial hiving of the North Bay Ritual Planning cell. It was noted that 4 of the 5 cell members reside in the Vacaville/Solano county area. These members travel up to 1 ½ hours to participate and hold ritual in the North Bay in Sebastopol.  In addition, there seems to be a young budding pagan community and a call for public rituals in the Vacaville/Solano county area. After divination and much discussion, the decision was made to start a hiving process. We are dedicated to supporting two healthy communities.

Hiving Process 
For 1 year the North Bay RPC will plan and priestess:

• Cross quarter rituals in Sebastopol planned by RPC cell - Bridget, Beltane, Lammas, and Samhain
• Solstices and Equinoxes in Vacaville/Solano County planned by RPC charettes - Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Fall Equinox and Winter Solstice

In an effort to leave a healthy North Bay cell in Sonoma AND Solano Counties:

1. We would like to expand the cell membership, with new and experienced members from the North Bay location(s). As a first step, we invite former RPC members and teachers to re-join the ritual planning cell.
2. A notification will go out to the North Bay community further inviting people from the North Bay location(s) to join the RPC cell.
3. To build skills and community in both Areas, we invite teachers to teach Elements of Magic and other core Reclaiming classes in the North Bay and Vacaville/Solano county areas. (Other classes, ritual skills, goddess of the month, etc. will be helpful.)

After 1-year the North Bay RPC may hive:

·  At the yearly RPC retreat the hiving will be discussed and may finalized the hiving of the cell.

•  If we are successful in building community in Vacaville/Solano County the cell may hive.
• Copper will stay on as continuity RPC member for the North Bay RPC in Sonoma County.
• Vacaville/Solano county members may/will move into supporting the new hiving community.
•  Each cell will decide which Sabbaths they will hold over the 2021 calendar year.

• We invite former RPC members and teachers to re-join the ritual planning cell.
• We invite teachers to teach classes and support building community in both areas.
